Professional Experience: 10+ years experience in education (all within Rapides Parish School District and Arthur F. Smith Middle Magnet School); 5+ years experience in leadership as an ELA department chair/mentor, Master Teacher, and Assistant Principal.
Welcome to Arthur F. Smith Middle Magnet School
It is an honor to be afforded the opportunity to lead a school with such rich traditions in and out of the classroom. Arthur F. Smith is a community school dedicated to improving the lives of our students. We aim to provide our students with appropriate and challenging educational experiences in a respectful environment that fosters learning and growth. Through our community and parental partnerships, we are also able to help our students successfully navigate the expectations set forth by our school and our leaders. Our school motto is "Where Excellence is the Expectation" and our ability to forge this principle is accomplished through strategic planning, development of positive relationships, celebration of our achievements, and building upon our foundation to ensure we cultivate an environment in which our entire Arthur F. Smith community can thrive.
